Audio Waves Visualizer Plugin

Audio Waves Visualizer Plugin 3.0.5

Big fan of this plugin, would love to see it have a few more customization options -- i couldnt get the bars on the circle-theme ray=style to be quite as chunky as id like.

The ultimate goal would be to be able to use my greenscreen cam's silhouette itself instead of a circle-themed one surrounding me, creating the impression that the audio signal was just coming off of my skin. Not sure how that would be implemented but that'd be ideal.

Sadly my crapy pc does not have any filters that can crop the silouethe like NVIDIA BG Removal and I can't test such features for now

The plugin causes OBS to crash as soon as I add an Audio Wave source, and I have to restart OBS in safe mode and remove the source for it to work again. I tried the installer and the zip versions of 2.0.0, I'm on Windows 11 and OBS 32.1.0 (but it didn't work on OBS 32.0.4 either).

The plugin is very heavy on resource usage, I'm thinking of removing the complicated alorythms and only keep 2 themes that I'm confident won't be causing crashes on any system. The problem is I'm too stuffed with the projects at work and I can't really dedicate much time on updating my obs studio resources.

MMLTech updated Audio Waves Visualizer Plugin with a new update entry:

HLSL Core change version 3.0.1 published

After a few months of experimenting i finally reached to the point where I'm satisfied of this plugin, I replaced the entire core of template based effects with HLSL shader effects that react to the audio sources, you can now create your own effects using just the minimal readme in the repo or use the 13 pre defined effects.

ATTENTION!! Some of the effects may be very resource consuming, may HALT youyr CPU/GPU witouth crashing OBS Studio and you'll...

I just got confirmation that the crashes on windows are also fixed
Im happy to hear it, will try to test extensively in the coming days. Im a big fan of this plugin, I think you should work on it's performance impact. If you can figure that out, I really think this would be the go to for visualizers.

Ofc once this plugin gets popular, you wil see all kind of graphics created by enthusiasts just like how the shader plugin does. Even I have some shader plugins created for that plugin https://streamrsc.com/search?q=shader but for the visualizer I'll just add new ones on the fly when releasing new versions
